European Innovation Council Expands Support for Startups with EIC Service Catalogue

The European Innovation Council (EIC) has launched a curated marketplace, the EIC Service Catalogue, to connect its backed startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with specialist services. This move aims to strengthen Europe's long-term competitiveness by supporting innovators tackling societal challenges.

By connecting innovators with trusted organisations, the EIC Service Catalogue is opening doors to new collaborations and growth opportunities for Europe's next generation of success stories.

The catalogue currently offers services to over 5,000 EIC-backed companies, with around 300 trusted organisations from 45 countries. Users can search for services by category, technology, or location, making it easier for innovators to find the expertise they need. Organisations like Inveniam Group, a life sciences project manager, have already benefited from the catalogue, expanding their collaborations and visibility within the European ecosystem.

The EIC is inviting more service providers to join the catalogue, seeking established organisations with a proven track record of at least three years' operational experience. This expansion signals a growing recognition of the importance of supporting innovative companies beyond just funding, and the potential for Europe's next generation of success stories to emerge from this initiative.
